Goal: instilling the proper attitude, mindset and confidence to safely handle and effectively use a firearm under stressful situations with split second decision making during a deadly force encounter.

 
This fast-paced course is focused on upgrading individual skills and combat proficiencies with the pistol. This course exceeds normal law enforcement standards. Operators will learn a unique weapons technique that will result in superior handgun skills and rapid reaction to fluid conditions. The class is not just about marksmanship, but focuses on how to fight and handle your weapon in combat conditions when split seconds count. ICPS 2 is an advanced class that offers the student more challenging scenarios and enhanced techniques.

  • Fundamentals of ICPS 360 shooting platform
  • Reloading tactics
  • Ready gun positions
  • Rapid fire drills
  • Stage 1 & 2 malfunctions
  • Multiple targets   
  • Barricaded shooting (shooting from different covers)
  • Kneeling and prone shooting positions    
  • One/Two hand shooting
  • Shoot/No shoot scenarios
  • Low light / Adverse light shooting
  • Advanced Tactical stress drills and scenarios                                                   

Gear and Ammo requirements:

  • Handgun
  • Two magazines per weapon (minimum)
  • Holsters: fast draw holster & pouch or duty rig
  • Ammunition – 250 rounds per day
  • Eye/ear protection
  • Tactical vest or load vest (LE/MIL)
  • Kneepads
  • Training attire
  • Hat
